After a special night at Jollie Hut we wake up to an overcast day. Yet it is not less special, but it rather puts another perspective on this amazing landscape.
Day 2 - Twizel to Lake Ohau Lodge
Day 3 - Lake Ohau Lodge to Omarama
Today we had our steepest climb. The gradient wasn't too bad, but the track was very tricky, which made it hard for our loaded bikes.
Yet again we were rewarded with a special day.
Day 4 - Omarama to Waitangi Campground
Not quite sure what to say. It's hard to describe. Apart from saying that it was amazing again.
Day 5 - Waitangi Campground to Duntroon
As we are nearing the ocean the landscape is changing.
Day 6 - Duntroon to Oamaru
Our last day on the trail. We are a bit sad to see it end, but are looking forward to new adventures after a couple days of rest.
