Day 10 Korea Cross Country Cycle Route
Mungyeong to Andong

Our first cloudy day of the trip, topping out at only 23°C — but that is perfect cycling weather for our 80+ kms ahead of us.
We started out through flat, open country along the river, and spotted two planes almost hidden in the weeds just off the trail. They weren't going anywhere soon.
A short detour took us to Toegang Catholic Church, a beautiful Gothic-style red brick building. Autumn is starting now, and cycling amongst the fallen leaves has been really pretty.
The day was full of rice fields, river crossings, plus a fair bit of time up on the levees as we made our way towards Andong. We stopped at a hilltop temple for a morning snack, with great views out over the surrounding fields and hills.
A detour out to the Buyongdae Cliffs gave us views across the river to Hahoe Folk Village. Finally rolled into Andong after 84 kilometers on the bikes.
We're here for three nights to enjoy the International Mask Festival.
