Day 31: Korea Cycle Route
Yeongsangang Bike Path
Naju to Mokpo
Today was our last day on Korea's bike routes, apart from a little bit in Seoul and back out towards the airport.
Cycling out of Naju, we passed fields of pink and yellow flowers stretching along the riverbank. So pretty! We stopped to see Korea's only inland (riverside) lighthouse.
The cycle route really put on a show for our final day. Riverside paths and boardwalks, reflections, rice fields, mountain views and weirs. It was like a summary of our time here in Korea.
We climbed up the Neureoji Observation Centre for a fantastic view over the winding river, then visited the Monnani Art Museum, which was very cool.
Reaching the end, we were a bit sad, but also felt a real sense of achievement. We have a great appreciation for the wonderful cycle paths and experiences we've had.
Next up: a relaxing day in Mokpo and then off to the big smoke (Seoul) for a few days.
