This weekend's micro adventure we went back to the Glasshouse Mountains for Tash to have a good workout climbing at Andromeda at Mt Ngungun.  Once again Kerrie and the kids picked me up Friday night at Beerburrum railway station after work and we found a great campsite, where we enjoyed a nice stew in this cold weather.

We headed off around 8 am on Saturday morning, Kerrie parted ways with the kids and I to go up Mt Ngungun.  The kids and I soon where at Andromeder with only one other set of climbers there.  Tash and Luke enjoyed the climbs, with Tash getting pushed to her limits and Luke getting a good workout.  Tash did really well making several grade 15 climbs cleanly while top roping.  Tash also got good experience belaying Luke on lead climbing.

Kerrie soon joined us from her walk up the mountain, which rewarded her with great views.

We spent a great morning and early afternoon enjoying each others company and the kids climbing.  They are starting to become a really good team.  Half an hour before it was time to leave, I headed back to the car to do a quick run up Mt Ngungun.  It was a great run but there were a lot of people on the track that caused a bit of traffic congestion.  I promise, I only pushed a view people down the side of the mountain and bowled over only about half a dozen kids (just joking). On our way home we did the compulsory McDondald's stop for frozen coke and ice cream cones.  Well done Kerrie for organising yet another awesome micro adventure.
